Nothing Precious

These works are from my senior show at UC Davis Nothing Precious.
The materials I used to make these portraits were purposely unconventional and temporary. besides the images of the three action heroes, all of the portraits were drawn directly on the wall of the gallery and the map was done on the floor.

" Playing Nice With Others "

THis is a performance that took place in front of the craft center gallery at on Campus at UC Davis. SEven individuals were asked to take part in this even. THey each had a portrait taken and from that image I created a white on white print. ("white on white" meaning that the high lights of the image were printed with white paint on white paper.) EAch participant was then charged with the task of revealing their image through some kinesthetic action using some pigment that acted as an indirect portrait and simultaneously a literal portrait.
